Rancho Peñasquitos Concerned Citizens was formed on January 29, 2006 in response to SDG&E's Sunrise Powerlink proposal to run 230,000 volt high-tension power lines through Park Village and surrounding Rancho Peñasquitos neighborhoods.

 

 

About Us - PQ-NE Action Group

Mission Statement

The PQ-NE Action Group is committed to promoting and preserving a safe and livable environment for the residents of The Glens and The Villages, located within the community of Rancho Peñasquitos. The organization’s efforts are directed at:

  • Educating residents regarding traffic and safety issues that impact our community.

  • Organizing community members to address these issues as they arise.

PQ-NE Action Group is a 501(c)(3) public benefit nonprofit organization. We are coordinated through the efforts of an all volunteer board of directors and local resident supporters. Tax exempt status was granted effective November 3, 2006.
